Would a dynamic contract have paid off?

Priced against what actually happened in Denmark — West (DK1) between 2025-10-18 and 2026-10-19 — 367 complete market days of real hourly prices, not a projection.

A year's electricitykWhWhich household is closest to yours?

Changing nothing about when you use powerSpot would have cost you €19 MORE€386 on spot against €367 on a monthly-average contract, over the year above.

And if you moved 0%of your use into each day's cheapest 4 hours

Still €19 more than the monthly-average contract. (€386 on spot, at 82.4 øre/kWh averaged over the year.)

What this assumes. That the last year repeats, which it will not. That your consumption follows the shape you picked above — a stylised one, not your meter. That the monthly-average contract charges the month's mean spot price, which is what those contracts do. And that moving load costs you nothing, which is true for a dishwasher and false for a family dinner.

Both figures are the ENERGY part of the bill only. Grid fees, energy tax and your supplier's markup are excluded from both sides, so the DIFFERENCE is meaningful even though neither total is your bill. We do not recommend a supplier and take no commission.
